We started off our christmas holiday break with Justin getting an 8 point buck...so, as you can guess, we had a LOT of venison! I don't care for it because of the "gamey" taste, but I really ate my share of the poor thing. Hey...it is a good choice for meat since it has little to no fat!
We left for Llano, to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Josh, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Susan, and the girls. During our visit, we traveled to Cameron to visit Granny and PawPaw and we really enjoyed getting to see them. During our visit Justin's cousin Lisa introduced us to a new member of the family, Ethan Walker Hood. Lisa and her husband Phillip are adopting Ethan and will have all the paperwork finished around March or April. He is a real cutie and so tiny!
After Llano we left back home on Christmas Eve so that we could spend our first family Christmas together. On Christmas morning, we took it easy and Jessica had fund opening her gifts....well...really we had fun helping her open her gifts and play with them more than she did, but oh well. Then we got to spend the rest of the day with Nana and Tio Shamboon. Later on that night, we went to the Chamber's house to play Texas Hold Em' and Nertz! What a day! I will have to get some pics to show you all the fun times we have had so far. Happy New Year everyone!!!
